Privacy Notice

The Impavid, owned by Austin Brannon, is the data controller for personal data processed through PaiiD. This notice explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

What we collect and why

• Account data (name, email, login details) — to create and run your account (contract performance).
• Content you create (contracts, check stubs, business documents, drafts, including names, amounts and the last 4 digits of tax IDs) — to provide the service (contract performance).
• Text you send to AI features — to generate drafts; not used to train models (contract performance).
• Purchase records (plan, credits bought and used) — to apply your entitlements (contract performance, legal obligation).
• Usage and device data (IP address, browser, pages used) — for security, fraud prevention and improving PaiiD (legitimate interests).
• Support messages — to help you (legitimate interests).

Who we share it with

• Service providers that host the app, store data and run AI features for us.
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for selling our products, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) when needed.
• Authorities where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account or it's no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it, except records we must keep by law (such as purchase records).

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. Email support@theimpavid.com. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may also complain to your data protection authority. Data may be processed in the United States with appropriate safeguards.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls that limit each account to its own data, and server-side checks on paid features.

Cookies

We use only essential storage needed to keep you signed in and process checkout. We don't use advertising cookies.
